nuke 7 final + betaNC + addons/tweaks = YOOHOO CMS 2
PHP-Nukenuke-lux writes "Here is my second attempt to create a stable CMS, which has all the features i need to create big community sites. FB from phpNuke.org just released php-nuke Final 7. So i compared php-nuke 7 files with a file-compare-tool with the Nukecops betaNC files. I took all the changes from nuke 6.9 and nuke 7 FINAl and integrated them into my betaNC based CMS. I have also added the missing features and modules requested by the nuke community.

Download & Testsite @ www.yoohoo.lu

Here the major changes if you upgrade your betaNC or yoohoo cms 1 site to yoohoo cms 2...

(The core of Yoohoo CMS is based on BetaNC from nukecops.com and some files from phpNuke 7 Final from phpnuke.org, all the other modules and tweaks are from third party developer sites, you will find the credits files in the package)

- Now any block can expire in a given period of days
- Changed rc4 crypt class due to license problem. Replaced with a GPL'ed class sent by the author
- Added a very nice points system to the whole code
Done by using the new function update_points($i) where $i has one of the following values:
1 = Journal Entry
2 = Journal Comments
3 = Recommend Us Entry
4 = Published News Submission
5 = Each News Comment
6 = News sent to a friend
7 = Articles rate
8 = Vote in a Survey
9 = Comment in a Survey
10 = Forum new thread post
11 = Forum reply to a post
12 = Reviews Comment
13 = Each Page View
14 = Visit to a WebLink
15 = Rate a WebLink
16 = Comment a WebLink
17 = Download a file
18 = Rate any file
19 = Comment to a file
20 = Broadcast Message
21 = Click on a Banner
- Added points based Users Groups (see administration section)
- added the feature to turn off and on the security code's check on login forms
for more details on how to configure it, just check out the config.php file. Default is to use this
feature everywhere.
- Fixed poll edit function to let you change the language in administration
- Now you can have theme specific graphic for WebLinks module title. To use it just add a file
called: /themes/Your_Theme/images/link-logo.gif (Your_Theme = your theme's name
- Now you can have theme specific graphic for Downloads module title. To use it just add a file
called: /themes/Your_Theme/images/down-logo.gif (Your_Theme = your theme's name

Some major changes if you upgrade betaNC to yoohoo cms1;

1)There were to scripts to change your user info in phpnuke, one in the forum module the other one in the your-account module, i removed the one from your-account and redirected all links to this one (i choose to keep the script from forum because if you edit your account with this script you have a cool avatar mangement script, which can also allow users to upload their your own avatar)

2)There were also two scripts to show your profile, i removed the one from forum (i choose to keep the script in your-account because it's shows you the userinfo plus the users last stories he posted)

3)I have added a wysiwyg editor to the publish center to allow users to upload and insert images to articles and to layout the articles

4)A strong image gallery with random image block has been added, you just need to upload images the script does the galleries and thumbs, users can upload their own media like movies sound files or photos

5)A chat module with blocks has been integrated

6)A Calendar module with subcategories and cool blocks

7)A page numbers system for the nws section, and the topics & categories pages

8)several blocks have been added, like the top posters block for the forum, the lastseen users block...

9)I rewrote the associates module, so that it shows you the ten last articles instead of just a graphic

10)The topics module has been totally rewritten to be more usefull

11)Several news functions have been added to the news module, you have now an auto-translate article block and a bookmark article block in articles

12)Your account has been rewritten and some new features have been added
