Tweaks: News module mod to allow ordering of news articles
ModulesRaven writes "I have modified the News module and other dependent files to allow you to [re]order the displaying of the news articles. I have tested this but it is still considered experimental until YOU all test it! Read on for more details and how/where to get the package. Please report all bugs here, and NOT on this site.

The hack involves adding a field to the nuke_stories table and modification to three other files. All needed files are included in the free download as well as instructions for installing it. Get it here."

what about when you don't want the story pinned to the top of the page anymore? do you just change the level and it goes back to normal?

Could you highlight the changes in reference to the original that you have made in the files so that one knows what the changes are as one might need to apply other tweak as well (people are tweaking and you may want to use more that one good features).

I have replaced the download with a modified nuke/html/admin/modules/stories.php file. That is the only file that has changed. If you downloaded before 18:25 hours on 4/29/2003, please redownload and you should be able to restore the default NULL values now.

MySQL was not allowing PHP to reset the value to NULL. Now it does :)
