Mtechnik Poised for Comeback
General NewsAnnouncements:
I do have a couple things to say and inform, basically broken down to 3 types of visitor(s) that I usually get. Excuse me for being straight forward...

To my supportive members
The new community is just about ready. Lots of changes, not only will I be creating public themes and skins I will also be making tutorials on just about everything that I've learned with sources, nothing held back...

Customers / Clients
All products from now on will be encoded and managed by license keys. This would benefit both parties (buyer and seller) by reducing piracy, and fraud, and chances of you finding the product you just paid for is offered some where else to public for free...

Disrespectful leeches
Just because I closed the community... does not mean I'm not watching. Me being silent does not mean I won't take any actions. Before you guys start laughing, thinking that I'm bluffing... Patent number(s) and a list of documents will be issued by attorney... Please, don't take this the wrong way, I'm not here to start a war nor here to threaten anyone, just giving out some information...

Unfortunately, designs aren't patentable. I am laughing, and you are bluffing.

Also, remember that time where you didn't finish a job for me, and you ran off with my money?Confirm/deny?

A number of searches was run through the US Copyright office, through their website http://www.copyright.gov not just be me, and not a trace of Mr Michael Hung or Mtechnik, or any reference to any products he had/has on his site.

I even paid for a request to the office themselves to search and it came up zero.

Like the theme security system Kenetix developed, hmm so much for 'unique concepts'

In particular I notice he has said Patent Numbers, not just copyright certificates that you can get from some domain registrar sites at the moment.

A few keyword searches at the US patent and trademarks office http://www.uspto.gov/ will show zero for Mr. Mtechnik.

Copyrighting themes or shall we say images is like microsoft copyrighting the word ICON and sueing linux for using it. I recommend you think about what you are saying and doing. I like your work but I am not going to pay someone that has a bad concept. Rule 1 to copyright something after it has been released to the public for free is not authorized. And anyone that already uses such products can not be charged of any crimes. Rule 2 to copyright a theme requires you to copyright every image and code. If you are using php then you do not have that right since php is a trademark code. Rule 3 If you sue anyone then a counter law suit can be made by the person you are suing for copyright infringment of PHP.

I have researched and discussed this with a lawer and you could be facing more than you can chew. Take this as you wish. I am just saying that this could be trouble for you.

Why is it that news stories only ever get reaction when some troll comes in here slinging mud, and threatning to throw his rattle out the cradle. I would ban his ass off this site sharpish.
