You can make a new module , eg. make new folder in modules and inside the module put index.php file which include other html file you like to show .

I think NSN your account mods can help . (I've used since phpnuke 7.0 , don't know recent mods existed or not).

I think something wrong on your right sided block ,or other part that following center block on home page . Likely some script that you include from remote site.
