Blocks: RECEPTION & MESSENGER BLOCK
Add OnsTonino writes "Since I was not fully satisfied in the way the PM popup window notification was operating, (only visible if the user has logged into forum).
I decided to implement a new notification with auditable and visible warnings soon the user/member logs into the portal. (PM = Private Message module)

The main reason for not been satisfied with the PM default notification, simply because the user/member once logged into a portal, occasionally goes straight into the forum module to see if  there are new private messages, or neither he/she will look into a block section where are displayed private messages statistics (providing that portal can display such block/s).
Therefore by modifying 80% the Site visitor's block (thanks to NukeCops), and by implementing the Messenger features I created a new block named "Reception & Messenger " v1."

Blocks: The postman online
Add OnsStreamLife writes "For php-Nuke version 6.5 - English version only. As you know the private messages popup email notification is operating in conjunction with phpBB Forum only. Consequently members that may have just logged into a portal, are unable to know if they have any messages awaiting in his/her inbox, unless we remember to visit either the Forum or the private messages modules. Such integration with php_Nuke portal as caused some inconvenience related to messages never replied. Therefore with great pleasure I compiled two new blocks named Thepostman_Online1 and Thepostman_Online2. I have tested them for few days and there are working great and they are secure. Now I don’t need to worry if I have any messages awaiting, the portal’s postman is pressing the doorbell when I got one. To you fellow Nukers the choice which block to use. To see how the postman online works: Login , go into either Forum or private messages modules, a send a message to yourself ( in the posting messages form, obviously use your nickname in the username field ) once posted the message, go back into the portal front page and your doorbell will ring. Demo and download from here "

Admin Note: The User Info block, and the Who's Online block both have a Private Messages count on them.
