Re: Scrolling blocks (Score: 1) by SuperCat on Friday, August 15 @ 17:21:06 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) | Oh, on a similar note, the DHTML made by Netscape is different than what was made by microsoft during the browser wars. This causes you to to do a browser detect and essentially code everything twice. |

Its the basicly same browser as Netscape 7.x, except that its usually a newer build and doesn't have 25+ extra megs of crap shoehorned into it. And scrolling blocks work just fine in it. |

Re: Scrolling blocks (Score: 1) by oprime2001 on Friday, August 15 @ 23:00:32 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) | I have a client who is threatening to cancel the rollout of a website after a year of on-and-off configuration simply because he cannot load the v6.5 php-nuke website with his netscape 4.78. A quick search on google returns references to netscape 4.78 having issues with CSS which is used at least in the nukemod theme packs (not sure about other themes). I posted a question in http://www.nukecops.com/postlite7398-.html. |
