Hi Mike, its a new year and it is going to be another great one. I hope that everyone gets their wishes this year because I already have mine with IACOJ. :D So, I'm set for life because having her has made me a success!

With that said... ;)

I'm not big on controversy. Yet on the order of once every couple months Nuke Cops tends to get a news article that may cause some "heat". It tends to follow that Allevon (a friend of mine) submits such articles. For a change, this submission wasn't by him. I've even removed one of Allevon's articles in the past because it generated too much negative discussion and flames (and that was also by his request to boot!).

Now I don't know what happened in regards to the history behind this news submission, but I approved it because I was interested in seeing the commentaries that would evolve here. It doesn't matter to me personally what had occurred. I just hope that everyone can get along...

But fundamentally, this article was approved because I try to stay as close as possible to a 99% news submission approval rating. It has been months since an article was not approved until yesterday when a highly questionable domain purchasing article was submitted. It was not written professionally nor legibly (ie: contact was using a hotmail address).

Now... if it so happens that this article takes a downward spiral, I'll have to remove it. I don't like seeing negative commentary going out of control. Otherwise, this stays mature and intellectual, I feel it can benefit folks by seeing how developers in the Nuke community interact on a professional level.

Not to mention, it shows folks that NC tries to stay away from censorship. Even though NC is a private entity and no freedom of speech is guaranteed, I do try to allow a wide latitude.

:D
